Vice President Hamid Ansari mourns death of 10 soldiers

New Delhi, Feb 5 (IBNS) Vice President M. Hamid Ansari on Friday expressed grief over the fatal accident in Siachen.

"I am deeply grieved to learn about the fatal avalanche in the Siachen involving 10 of our army personnel," Ansari said in his message.

"I offer my sincere condolences to the bereaved families of the brave soldiers and officer of the Indian Army," he said.

10 Indian Army soldiers who died after being trapped under snow in the Siachen Glacier northern base camp of the Indian Army in Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday.
