Dehradun, Mar 18 (IBNS) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat faces in the Assembly a section of disgruntled MLAs threatening to vote against the Budget- a move that could jeopardize his position.

Reports said  If the Budget is not passed, then Rawat would have to resign leading to the fall of the Congress government.

The disgruntled camps are led by former chief minister Vijay Bahuguna and Agriculture Minister Harak Singh Rawat. Bahuguna, Harak Singh Rawat and Satpal Maharaj  reportedly want to topple the Harish Rawat government. They claim to have the support of 12 rebel Congress MLAs in the house of 70 MLAs.

The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which also wants to topple the Government, is also seeking the help of rebel Congress MLAs.
