Uttar Pradesh: Two killed, 3 injured as bikes collide in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur: Two persons were killed, and three others were injured when two motorcycles collided in Mirzapur area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, a police officer said here.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sanjiv Kumar Bajpai said that the two motorcycles collided near a brick kiln in Thariya village on Farrukhabad-Moradabad state highway. "Vishal, a resident of Kalan, and Anwar Ali, a resident of Farrukhabad were killed in the accident," he said.

He said that Vishal's wife Suhaga, sons Shaurya and Kallu were injured in the incident. "The injured were taken to the community health center from where they were referred to Shahjahanpur district hospital in a serious condition," he said.

The SP said that the bodies have been sent for post mortem examination.
