Uttar Pradesh: One killed in gas cylinder explosion in Lucknow

Lucknow/UNI: One person was killed while another sustained injuries in an explosion in a gas cylinder kept in a shop in the Para area of the state capital on Tuesday.

Police sources here said that a gas cylinder exploded at a 'namkeen' shop near Buddheshwar at around 1000 hrs, this morning. The house was damaged in the accident.

Bablu Gupta (35), who was present on the spot, was killed in the incident while another sustained injuries.

The injured has been admitted to a hospital and rescue and relief work is underway.
