Continuing the trend of recent attacks, a 13-year-old was injured after a wolf targeted him in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich area on Sunday.

The injured child was identified as Armaan Ali (13).

He was reportedly sleeping on the terrace of his home in Bharaich's Mahis sub division when the wolf attacked him.

After the attack, the child was rushed to a local health facility with injuries to his neck and shoulders, from where he was referred to the Bharaich Medical College due to the seriousness of his injuries, reported India Today.

People around Bahraich are living in fear after a series of attacks by wolves left at least 10 people killed in recent times.

Over 30 people have been injured so far.

The first attack was reported on July 17 when a one-year-old child was targeted by the animal.
