Guntur, Aug 16 (IBNS): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with the local fire department and the police, rescued a child from a bore-well in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, early on Wednesday, according to media reports.

The two-year old boy, Chandrasekhar, fell into the 20-feet deep bore-well on Tuesday.

It took the rescue team over seven hours to save the child, according to media reports.

Boulders in the well and bad weather hampered the rescue work but the rescuers continued with their efforts to save the child, local reports said.

According to local reports, the child is under observation at  the Government General Hospital in Guntur and is said to be out of danger.
