The General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of the Tripura government, in a letter to the Under Secretary MHA, said that AIGP (TSR) Subrata Chakraborty and Commandant, TSR 2nd battalion Pinaki Samanta, have been transferred to CBI on deputation.

Both officers were relieved from their present assignments and directed to report to the headquarters of the CBI in New Delhi immediately, as per the directives of the Supreme Court judgement on August 7 in connection with the Manipur violence and implementation of the court order.
