Three-year old girl raped, killed in Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow/IBNS: A three-year old girl was raped and murdered in a district of Uttar Pradesh a day ago, police said on Friday, several media reported.
The incident happened in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district.
The girl was missing since Wednesday and her body with injuries was found just half-a-kilometer away from his home.
Sexual assault has been confirmed by the autopsy, police said.
In his complaint, the child's father has accused a villager, named Lekhram, of committing the crime. He has alleged that the child was kidnapped and murdered over an old rivalry.
