Tathagata Roy posts controversial tweets ahead of Ghulam Ali's show in Kolkata
"Paki singer GhulamAli in Kolkata. No ppl on earth hv sufferd at Paki hands as mch as Bengali Hindus. Bengalis forget,said Haraprasad Shastri," Roy tweeted.
"On 12 February 1950 all trains crossing the Meghna Bridge at Ashugonj (now Bangladesh) wr stopped,all Hindus stabbed and thrown into river," read his another tweet.
Ghulam Ali will perform in Kolkata on Tuesday.
After changing at least three venues, West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) on Friday fixed Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata as the venue to host Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali and his son Aamir Ali's concert.
