Sushma Swaraj pays floral tribute at the bust of the Mahatma Gandhi in Ramallah

Ramallah, Jan 17 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday paid floral tributes at the bust of the Mahatma Gandhi here.

"Homage to Gandhi & solidarity with the Palestinian people. EAM lays flowers at the bust of the Mahatma in Ramallah," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

This is the External Affairs Minister's first visit to the West Asia region.

She  left for her two-day visit to Palestine and Israel on Saturday.
