Sushma Swaraj arrives in Sri Lanka, meets PM Ranil Wickremesinghe

Colombo, Feb 5 (IBNS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday arrived in Sri Lankan city Colombo.

Swaraj met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe after arriving in the nation.

After arriving in Sri Lanka, Swaraj was received by country's Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera.

"Strengthening a cherished relationship. EAM @SushmaSwaraj arrives in Colombo. Is received by FM Samaraweera," MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

"A warm welcome by a close neighbour. EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on PM Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees," read another tweet.
