Mumbai, Dec 1 (IBNS) Former media baron Peter Mukerjea was on Tuesday sent to judicial custody till December 14 in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case, reports said.

The  Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the case, had sought four days custody of  Peter, husband of Indrani Mukerjea,  the prime accused in the case.

Peter had earlier claimed in the court that he was innocent. Arguing against extension of CBI custody, Peter's lawyer had claimed that the CBI remand application has no mention of Peter's involvement. He had also said that Peter agreed to undergo the polygraph test as he had nothing to hide.

On Saturday,  Peter Mukherjea's was reportedly asked more than 50 questions based on two sets of questionnaires on Sheena Bora murder case and his financial transactions during his polygraph test.

Peter was arrested on November 19 for his alleged role in the sensational murder case and has been in CBI custody since then.
