Rahul happy with Varun praise

New Delhi, Apr 2 (IBNS) Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said he is happy with his cousin and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Varun Gandhi appreciating his work in Amethi.

"Well, what we have done in Amethi continuously was strategically done. We started education hub foundation and food park for farmers. So what Varun is saying is right," said Rahul. 

"I am very happy that other people are appreciating the work we have done in Amethi," he said, adding that he has worked to connect the farmers of Amethi with the rest of the world.

Rahul said he worked seriously to develop Amethi in agriculture and educationally and work for the women of the area. 

"I have a relationship with the people of Amethi. It is for them to respond," said Rahul on his own candidature from Amethi constituency of Uttar Pradesh. 

Varun Gandhi reportedly praised Rahul and said he has done good work in Amethi

According to reports, he appreciated Rahul for implementation of schemes that helped small scale industries in Amethi.
