President wishes Serbia ahead of National Day

New Delhi, Feb 14(IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Serbia on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to Tomislav Nikolic, the President of the Republic of Serbia, the President  said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the friendly people of the Republic of Serbia on the occasion of your National Day."

"India and Serbia enjoy a long standing friendship as co-founders of the Non-Aligned Movement. I am confident that the potential that exists for stronger cooperation will be realised in the years ahead," Mukherjee said.

"I take this opportunity to convey to Your Excellency my best wishes for your good health, well-being and for the advancement and prosperity of the friendly people of Serbia,” he said.
