President wishes people before National Day of Estonia

New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Estonia on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to Toomas Hendrik Ilves, the President of the Republic of Estonia, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my behalf, I have pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Estonia on the occasion of your National Day."

"India and Estonia have warm and friendly relations of long standing. I am confident that your guidance will contribute to the enhancement and further strengthening of our bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest – especially information technology, e-governance and cyber security," Mukherjee said.

"I look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration and close cooperation between our two countries in the years to come," he said.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for your good health, well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Estonia," he said.
