PM Modi, politicos remember legendary trio on their martyrdom day

New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other politicos on Wednesday remembered and paid tribute to the legendary trio of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day, who revolted against the then colonial British empire.

PM wrote on Twitter: "I bow to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day & salute their indomitable valour & patriotism that inspires generations."

Acknowledging their sacrifice, the Prime Minister wrote: "In the prime of their youth, these 3 brave men sacrificed their lives so that generations after them can breathe the air of freedom."

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal posted: "Salute to #BhagatSingh #Rajguru #Sukhdev"

A tweet from the Office of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi read, "Remembering today the great patriots & freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev on their martyrdom day."
