Pathankot attack: PM Narendra Modi chairs meeting with top officials

New Delhi, Jan 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met top government officials after reaching New Delhi.

He is meeting the officials at a time when security officials are conducting an operation at Pathankot Air Base in Punjab which has been attacked by militants.

"Immediately on landing in Delhi, PM @narendramodi is chairing a high level meeting with the NSA, Foreign Secretary & other officials," PMO India tweeted.

The terrorist attack on the air force base in Punjab's Pathankot district, believed to be carried out by Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed that seeks independence for Kashmir,has left six IAF men killed. Five militants have been killed so far.
