New Delhi: Bomb scare delays two flights

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IBNS) Following an anonymous phone call which warned authorities that two flights, which were scheduled to depart from Delhi to Kathmandu, had bombs, both the flights were delayed on Wednesday.

The Delhi Police confirmed that Jet Airways flight 9w260 and Air India flight AI 215 were delayed following the threat call.

Air India later said  AI 215 will operate with change in aircraft.

"#AIUpdate Flt #AI215 DEL-KTM will operate with change in aircraft, since security clearances may take some more time. (1/2)," Air India tweeted.

"The flight is expected to depart at 1730 hrs. Boarding has commenced. (2/2)," it said.
