NDA Presidential nominee Kovind performed exceptionally well as Guv of Bihar: CM Nitish Kumar

Patna, June 19 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday expressed happiness over governor Ram Nath Kovind being nominated as NDA’s presidential candidate and also praised him for his role as the governor of the state.

“It’s a matter of great pleasure for me that the Governor of Bihar is now a Presidential candidate. I’m personally happy over it,” Kumar told the media in Patna on Monday.

He praised Kovind for his role as the governor of Bihar adding he always maintained “ideal relationship” with the state government.

“Rajyapal ke roop me unhone behtarin kam kiya,” he said.

He parried questions over his party support to Kovind but added he was personally happy over his nomination.

Kumar also rushed to Raj Bhawan today convey his bets wishes to the Governor.
