Kolkata, Aug 9 (IBNS): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday quizzed state cabinet minister Firhad Bobby Hakim in connection with its ongoing probe into Narada sting, sources said.

After he was asked to appear at ED's office at CGO Complex in Kolkata's Salt Lake area for interrogation, West Bengal Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Minister Firhad Hakim deposed before investigators at around 2:15 pm.

According to ED sources, the minister was quizzed for hours.

While leaving the ED office at around 7 pm, Bobby Hakim told reporters that, "I have trust on the investigation agency."

"I answered to their all questions properly. I did not commit any unethical job," Hakim added.

Meanwhile, the ED has also sent multiple notices to three TMC lawmakers- Sovan Chatterjee, Subrata Mukherjee and Suvendu Adhikari- in connection with the same case, asking them to appear before the agency on Thursday, Aug 11 and Aug 22 respectively, sources said.

On April 17, theCentral Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered an FIR in connection with the case under several non-bailable sections against 12 influential leaders, cabinet ministers, MLAs and MPs of TMC and one senior IPS officer, who were allegedly seen taking bribes in the sting footage, reports said.

Besides CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), has registered a money laundering case in Narada sting and it's currently investigating the case.
