MP civic polls: Major setback for BJP, Congress wins 5 seats

Bhopal, Dec 27 (IBNS): In a major setback for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress party has won five out of eight urban civic bodies.
The municipal election was held on December 22.
 
The BJP only managed to win three seats including Mandsour, Sehoreand Shahganj.
 
The five urban bodies where Congress emerged as winner include Shajapur Municipal Council and city councils of Majholi, Bhedaghat, Dhamnod and Orcha.
