Modi to visit Pakistan shortly: Sushma Swaraj calls PM a 'statesman'
"That's like a statesman. Padosi se aise hi rishte hone chahiyen. (One should have such a relationship with neighbours)," Swaraj tweeted.
Modi has already spoken to Sharif and wished him on his birthday.
"Spoke to PM Nawaz Sharif and wished him on his birthday," the PM said.
"Looking forward to meeting PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today afternoon, where I will drop by on my way back to Delhi," Modi tweeted.
He will meet the Pakistani leader on his way back to India after visiting Afghanistan.
