Mehbooba Mufti, Sharad Pawar wish Mamata Banerjee over West Bengal Assembly polls results

New Delhi: Senior Kashmir politician and former state CM Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday congratulated West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee after her Trinamool Congress registered a massive lead in the ongoing Assembly polls.

"Congratulations to@MamataOfficial@AITCofficial@derekobrienmp on their splendid victory today. Kudos to the people of West Bengal for rejecting disruptive & divisive forces," Mufti tweeted.

Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharaad Pawar also congratulated Banerjee and said: "Congratulations@MamataOfficialon your stupendous victory! Let us continue our work towards the welfare of people and tackling the Pandemic collectively."

As per latest trends, Trinamool Congress is ahead in 205 seats.

Bharatiya Janata Party is ahead in 84 and Sanjukta Morcha is leading in 2.
