Cooch Behar/IBNS: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a visit to North Bengal ahead of the coming Panchayat election, Monday stopped at a local tea shop in Chalsa and tried her hand at preparing dumplings as well as brewing tea.

"It's heartwarming to spend time amidst the people of Bengal. Being a part of their lives is my biggest treasure," Banerjee said.

Following the public meeting in Cooch Behar earlier in the day, the CM visited a local tea shop in Chalsa.

"I enthusiastically tried my hand at preparing dumplings and brewing tea. It was a sheer pleasure to witness the smiling faces of people all around," she stated and humbly thanked them for their love and warmth.

"Spreading joy among one and all will always be my aim. Their happiness is my victory, " she further said.
