Maharashtra: 4 die of burns from LPG explosion

Nashik/UNI: Four of a family succumbed to their burn injuries sustained in the LPG explosion at their residence, police said here on Monday.

The victims have been identified as Saida Shartoddin Sayyad (41), Liaquat Rahim Sayyad (32), Nasruddin Nusrat Sayyad and Nusart Rahim Sayyad (both 25).

On the midnight of April 2, a massive LPG gas cylinder explosion was reported from the Sanjarinagar locality in the Wadalanaka area in old Nashik.

Eight members of the family were hurt in the mishap, police stated, adding that they were rushed to the civil hospital.

However, four of them passed away on Sunday afternoon, it apprised.
