Madhyamik 2016: First class cheating spotted during second language exam across Bengal
Kolkata, Feb 2 (IBNS): West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has taken several steps to conduct a free, fare and peaceful Secondary (Madhyamik) examination this year. The WBBSE has identified examination centres as normal, sensitive and highly sensitive, installed CCTV cameras in sensitive and highly sensitive centres and banned cell phone access inside all exam centres.
But, freely cheating could not be avoided on the second day of the examination, which was started on Monday and will conclude on Feb 10.
Cheating and answers supplying from outside in presence of police were spotted on the day of second language examination at several exam centres across the state.
When WBBSE administrator Kalyanmoy Ganguly was asked about this, he denied.
"I received reports from all District Magistrates. No such incident has been reported yet," he said.
However, few answer suppliers have been reportedly detained from several locations in West Bengal.
