Amethi, Apr 16 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Smriti Irani will file her nomination from Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

She has been fielded by the BJP against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas.

"It is absolutely fair for my party to put me here in a place which is being devoid of development for the past 6 decades. It is absolutely fair for my party to send me here specially given that Rahul Gandhi tries to encash on the youth factor and does not deliver on the promises," Irani told CNN-IBN.

Kumar Vishvas filed his nomination papers from Amethi on Tuesday, while Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination on Saturday
