Kolkata: Four held for beating junior doctor at M. R. Bangur Hospital

Kolkata, Feb 13 (IBNS): The Police on Friday booked four persons for allegedly beating a junior doctor at M. R. Bangur Hospital in south Kolkata, reports said.

According to reports, alleging that hospital did not provide proper medical treatment to one patient- Nilam Jha- who is being treated at the medicine department in M. R. Bangur Hospital, her family members attacked junior doctor Tanmoy Halder badly.

However, police from Jadavpur Police Station rushed to the spot and detained four accused persons.

"We have collected CCTV footage from the hospital to identify the attackers. Investigation has started into the case," one Kolkata Police official told IBNS.
