Khaleda Zia gets bail in 5 cases

Dhaka, Apr 5 (IBNS) Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was granted bail in five cases including a sedition case on Tuesday.

The BNP supremo surrendered before five separate courts in Dhaka.

In the sedition case, Zia was granted bail by Judge Md Jakir Hossain Tipu of the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court.

Judge Asaduzzaman Nur of Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court delivered the verdict in the case related to the arson attack on a passenger bus in Jatrabari on Jan 23, 2015 where Zia was granted bail.
