J&K: Three militants killed

Srinagar, Feb 22 (IBNS): The Indian Army on Monday said three militants have been killed during an encounter, which started on Saturday, in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"All three hardcore militants have been killed," an Army officials said.

"They are all foreign militants and steps are now being taken to understand their identity," he said.

"They are likely to be belonging to a suicide squad," he said.

He said the sanitizing of the JKEDI complex is currently going on.

He said 120 civilians were evacuated by the army from the building.

The standoff started on Saturday after militants entered the JKEDI building.
