Jammu and Kashmir: Two drug peddler arrested

Srinagar/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered Codeine Phosphate and seized a vehicle in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said on Tuesday afternoon.

He said on a tip off a police party intercepted a vehicle in Devsar in Kulgam today.

However, during the search of the vehicle, police recovered nine bottles of Codeine Phosphate, he said adding both the drug peddlers were arrested and vehicle seized.

He said FIR No.117/2020 U/S 8/21, 29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Devsar and investigation is in process.
