Jammu and Kashmir: DC Anantnag inaugurates 2-days estamping training prog

Srinagar: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, K.K. Sidha on Monday inaugurated two days e-Stamping training programme here. 

The training programme has been organised in coordination with the State Taxes Department Anantnag. 

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC highlighted the aspects, rules and regulations to be adopted while making use of e-Stamping and electronic payment and stamp duty through the latest technology mission. 

He emphasized on the stamp vendors to come forward and attend all such programmes to get benefited and added that eStamping provides better opportunities to the stamp vendors and trains them about the latest technology of e-Stamping through the Computer system to perform the job at ease and quickly. 

The officers from the Sales Tax department imparted necessary training concerning e-Stamping to the stamp vendors through a PowerPoint presentation and they were provided training about the latest technology. 

The officers threw light on the objectives of e- Stamping and stressed them to write accurate, perfect information, details carefully.

Forms were also distributed among the Stamp vendors to enable them to know about the process, rules and regulations of e-Stamping through electronic means. 

Among others, ADC Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, SDM Kokernag and officers from Sales Tax department were present at the event while the training camp was attended by a good number of petition writers from the different areas of the district.
