Islamic State-inspired cleric arrested by NIA

New Delhi, Feb 6 (IBNS) A Muslim cleric who allegedly was encouraging people to strike in various places of the country inspired by the Islamic State module, has been arrested by anti-terror the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday, said reports on Saturday.
The arrested man, Abdus Sami Qasmi, is a resident of Seelampur in Delhi. He originally hails from Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh.
 
An NIA court issued a non-bailable warrant against him in Delhi on Saturday.
 
Qasmi was instigating people to in the support of 'Caliphate' and also was behind some website launches.
