I am fine: Smriti Irani says after her car meets with an accident

New Delhi, Mar 5 (IBNS): Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani, whose car met with an accident on the Yamua Expressway, said she was 'fine' and tried to help injured people reach hospital for treatment.

"For all enquiring re my accident- I'm fine. Thank you for the concern and wishes," Irani tweeted.

"There was a pile up of vehicles due to an accident on the expressway. Unfortunately the police vehicle before mine & my car also crashed," she said.

The Union Minister further said: "Tried to help the injured who were lying on the road for quiet sometime and ensured they reach a hospital. Pray for their safety."

She was returning to Delhi when the mishap occurred.
