A 31-year-old woman died after consuming momo from a roadside stall in Hyderabad city recently.

According to reports,15 others fell sick after consuming the snack prepared by the same vendor but from a stall located at a different location in the city.

The deceased woman reportedly ate momo from a stall named 'Delhi Momos' which is located in Chintal Basti area.

Six people, who came from Bihar, reportedly setup the stall around three months ago.

Police said those who were operating the stall have been taken into custody.

A family member of the deceased woman complained to the police after she fell sick and was later admitted to hospital for treatment.

A local, while speaking to reporters as quoted by India Today, claimed that the woman started showing symptoms of food poisoning an hour after consuming the snack.
