The Noida Police have arrested a man, who hails from West Bengal, for allegedly murdering his lover and dumping her dismembered body in multiple locations, including a posh sector in the city, media reports said.

The victim’s torso was found in a drain near Sector-82 on November 6, while her head and hands were recovered from Dankaur town.

According to police, both the accused and the victim were residents of West Bengal.

The man, who worked as a bus driver, reportedly killed the woman inside his vehicle before dismembering her.

The body was partially dumped in Noida, with the severed head and hands disposed of in Dankaur.

Police launched an investigation after recovering the body, scanning nearby CCTV footage and conducting an autopsy to confirm the victim’s identity and establish the sequence of events.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive, but confirmed that the accused is in custody and further investigation is ongoing.
