G20 delegates visit Mughal Garden Nishat, dressed in Kashmiri attire

Srinagar: The foreign delegates of G20 Tourism working Group on Wednesday visited the famous Mughal Garden on the bank of Dal Lake in Srinagar on the last day of a three-day event.

The women delegates were also seen attired in traditional Kashmir colorful costumes in the Nishat garden and they also clicked pictures in the backdrop of flowers and high Zabarwan mountains.

The delegates were dressed in traditional Pheran or a long Gown, headgear and traditional jewelry resembling as Kashmiri women.

The delegates who walked through the Nishat garden were overwhelmed after seeing the mesmerizing pristine glory of nature with varieties of flowers making the atmosphere heavenly.

The high profile third G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting kicked off in Srinagar on Monday amid unprecedented security.

The three day G20 meet, is the first major international event in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019, when the erstwhile state's special status was scrapped and it became a Union Territory.
