Guwahati, Feb 9 (IBNS) : Former Chief Minister of Assam and AGP leader Prafulla Kumar Mahanta was injured when his car was hit by a truck in Assam’s Nagaon district on Tuesday.

According to reports, the car in which Mahanta was traveling to Guwahati from Nagaon was hit by a roadside truck from backside.

Mahanta and his son were injured in the mishap and they were rushed to Nagaon civil hospital.

Doctors of the hospital said that the former CM of Assam is now out of danger.
