New Delhi/UNI: Lok Sabha was adjourned for one hour on Tuesday following opposition uproar on the issue of Farmers' Bills.

Raising the issue, Congress Floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that the Government on Monday raised the minimum support price (MSP) of wheat by Rs 50, which is the lowest in the last 11 years.

He said the rise in MSP is too less for farmers, who have been protesting against two farm bills, which were passed by Parliament on Sunday.

He said that people are taking to the streets in various states of the country regarding the issues of

farmers. Ninety per cent of the farmers of Punjab are on the roads.

All India Trinamool Congress member Kalyan Banerjee said that his party supports the issue which is raised by the Congress Floor leader.

Opposition members started shouting slogans on the Farmers' issue following which Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House till 1614 hours.
