Don't be afraid of COVID-19: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tells people from hospital

Bhopal/IBNS: COVID-19 positive Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said people should not be afraid of the disease.

He asked them to start getting the treatment once they are tested positive.

The CM shared a video from the hospital where he is undergoing treatment for the highly infectious disease.

He asked people to wear masks and maintain social distance to fight COVID-19.

The CM announced that he had tested COVID-19 positive on Friday.

Chouhan said in a tweet that he would try to assess the Covid situation in his state via video conference.

In his absence, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhuppendra Siingh, Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang, Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhury will attend the Covid meetings.
