Crude prices hiked in India, Congress slams govt
New Delhi, Apr 5 (IBNS) The Congress on Tuesday slammed the centre for the hike in Petrol and Diesel prices in India.
In a tweet it said, "Modi Govt places another burden on the common man. Why're Indian petrol prices rising when world prices are falling?"
Petrol prices were hiked by 2.19 INR, while the price of Diesel was increased by 0.98 INR.
The prices will come into effect from midninght, on Tuesday.
