Court grants bail to Karan Johar's former associate Kshitij Prasad in drugs case

Mumbai/UNI: Kshitij R Prasad, a former associate of filmmaker Karan Johar was here on Thursday granted conditional bail for his alleged involvement in a drugs case.

He was granted bail two months after his arrest, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde informed.

The Special NDPS Court Judge G B Gurao has directed the accused to furnish bail of Rs 50,000.

He has also being directed to report to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office every Monday for an hour for the next six months and also surrender his passport.

The court also imposed conditions that he cannot travel abroad without prior permission of the court, also to share his itinerary for any domestic travel, attend all court proceedings, refrain from tampering with any evidence or witnesses.

The NCB had raided and later arrested Prasad on September 26 in the drugs probe related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
