New Delhi/UNI: The Congress on Wednesday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for what they called selective outrage over the arrest of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami and said the law will take its own course.c

Addressing the media, Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinetra said she was actually very shocked with the "selective outrage" of the BJP and asked why they were silent when many journalists were attacked in various part of the country.

Srinetra said that she understands journalism and the kind of journalism, the arrested TV editor was doing is shameful and has been trying to run BJP's agenda through journalism.

The spokesperson also said that these editors have made a mockery of journalism.

"It is a sad situation that they invite some people in their studios and makes false allegations as well as imposing an agenda in their show," she said.
