Congress appoints Manish Tewari as spokesperson

New Delhi, Jan 29 (IBNS): The Congress has appointed senior leader Manish Tewari as its spokesperson.

"Hon'ble Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi has approved the appointment of Shri Manish Tewari as Spokesperson of All India Congress Committee," the party said in a statement.

Tewari had earlier served as the Information and Broadcasting Minister during the UPA-II regime.
