Chhattisgarh: 12 Maoists killed during operation

Sukma, June 25 (IBNS): At least 12 Maoists were killed during an operation carried out by Chhattisgarh Police and CRPF forces in Bastar area, media reports said on Sunday.

Three DRG jawans were killed in the incident.

Combing operation is currently going on in Sukma, media reports said.

"3 DRG jawans martyred, 5 injured. Over 1 dozen Naxals dead, 8-10 injured," DM Awasthi, DG Naxalite operations, was quoted as saying by India Today.
