Chennai: Teen mowed down by train while attempting to click selfie

Chennai, Feb 1 (IBNS) Adding to the growing number of 'selfie death', a 17-year old youth on Sunday evening was mowed down by a train when he tried to click a selfie while standing on the tracks, according to reports.

Hindustan Times reported that the victim was identified as Dena Sukumar, a student of class 12 of Poonamallee Aringnar Anna Government Higher Secondary School.

Such deaths are becoming frequent in India nowadays, as reports have poured in where the deceased were involved in some sort of risky activities leading to the loss of their life.
