Assam: Girl commits suicide after her lover posts naked video in social media

Guwahati, Aug 29 (IBNS): A girl committed suicide in upper Assam’s Sivsagar district on Thursday after her lover allegedly posted her naked video in social media.

The incident took place at Geleki near Nazira in the oil rich upper Assam district along the Nagaland border.

According to reports, the girl got involved in a relationship with the accused person whom she met over Facebook.

The girl committed suicide after her lover had allegedly posted her naked video on Facebook from Dhubri.

Meanwhile, the family of the girl has lodged an FIR against the person.

Police registered a case into the incident and started investigation.
