Arrested for abduction and molestation of fellow actress, Malayalam superstar gets two-day police remand

Thiruvanthapuram, Jul 12 (IBNS) : Malayalam actor Dileep, arrested for conspiracy in the actress’ abduction and molestation case, was sent to two days police custody by a Kerala court on Wednesday, reports said.

While the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate's court rejected the actor's bail plea it allowed the police to take his custody for two days for questioning and collection of evidence.

Dileep has claimed that he was ‘trapped’ in the case and pleaded innocence.

The Malayalam superstar  has been booked under 10 sections including conspiracy, gangrape and destruction of evidence.

Dileep was  arrested  over the alleged abduction and molestation of a popular Malayalam actress.
