All Make in India week programs will be conducted as scheduled: Maha CM

Mumbai, Feb 15 (IBNS): A day after a fire mishap hit a cultural event, the Maharashtra government has said that the Make in India week programmes will be conducted as per schedule.

"All @makeinindia week programs will be conducted as scheduled. #MakeInIndia," Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis tweeted.

"A comprehensive safety audit has already been done at all venues.A concurrent audit will be done again," he said.

A massive fire broke out  during a cultural programme  of the Make In India week event in Mumbai on Sunday.

14 fire engines,10 water tankers rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

No one has been hurt in the incident.

Several celebrities and politicians were present at the spot when the fire broke out, reports said.

The venue was evacuated immediately after flames were spotted, officials said.
