AIUDF will be the king maker in Assam: Ajmal

Guwahati, Apr 1 (IBNS) : AIUDF chief Badaruddin Ajmal on Friday said that his party will play major role to form next government in Assam.

Addressing a rally for the first phase of the assembly polls in the state in Barak Valley, Ajmal said that AIUDF will be the king maker in the next government.

“No one can form the next government in Assam without AIUDF,” Ajmal said.

“Our seats will increase from earlier 18 in 2011,” the AIUDF chief said.

Attacking  the Congress, the AIUDF chief said  the entire development in the state is totally halt.

“People are seeking a change and it will be happen,” Ajmal said.

Badaruddin Ajmal, who contested from South Salmara constituency, also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP.

The first phase poll for 65 constituencies out of 126 assembly constituencies in the state will be held on Apr 4.
